Our ablative lasers work by precisely removing microscopic layers of skin, encouraging the body’s natural healing — chiefly through collagen production and skin remodelling.
CO₂ Laser
Ideal for deep wrinkles, significant scarring and textural irregularities.
Erbium Laser
Targets fine lines and pigmentation with more precision and typically a shorter recovery.
Healing Timeline
Expect redness and peeling over 3-7 days depending on skin type and treatment intensity.
Results
Smoother, firmer, and revitalised complexion following 1–3 sessions, depending on intensity.
Is fractional laser safe in all skin types
Yes, fractional Erbium laser can be safely used in all skin types, however darker skin types will need to be prepared for 2-4 weeks with medical grade hydroquinone prevent hyperpigmentation.
What is the difference between fractional laser and fully ablative laser?
Fully ablative laser vaporises thin layers of tissue in a 4-6mm diametre circle from the surface of the skin. This can be stacked to remove more or less of the skin surface. It can be used selectively around acne scarring, or over the whole face for a deep anti-aging treatment. Fractional lasers vaporise tiny columns of skin, leaving healthy untreated skin in between. This means a faster recovery and lower risk of side effects when compared to full ablation.
