Dr. Rob Humphries is a Cambridge-trained medical doctor specialising in regenerative, aesthetic, and longevity medicine.
Dr Rob Humphries is a Harley Street aesthetic doctor, an international Endolift trainer, and the founder of Aion Labs in London. He is one of a small number of UK doctors dual-qualified in both medicine and dentistry, and his practice is built on that foundation: a working knowledge of facial anatomy at the level of the surgeon, applied to non-surgical treatment.
He read medicine at the University of Cambridge, and went on to qualify in dentistry at King's College London. Between the two, he spent a year at Cambridge as an anatomy demonstrator and supervisor, teaching facial anatomy to undergraduate and graduate medical students. Few practitioners working in aesthetics have taught the anatomy they treat.
Dr Humphries has five years of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery and aesthetic medicine, across NHS hospitals and leading private clinics in London, and holds membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS). He has performed more than 10,000 procedures.
That surgical background shapes how he approaches non-surgical work. Facial ageing is a problem of anatomy - bone, fat compartments, retaining ligaments, skin - and treating it well means knowing which layer has changed, and which structures sit in the way. The marginal mandibular nerve, the facial artery and the danger zones of the midface are essential parts of safe maxillofacial practice.
Dr Humphries specialises in Endolift, the minimally invasive laser skin tightening procedure that delivers energy directly beneath the skin via a micro-optical fibre, tightening tissue and stimulating collagen without incisions, general anaesthetic or downtime. He treats jowls, jawline definition, submental fullness ("double chin"), midface laxity and the lower face - including the loss of facial volume and skin quality that follows rapid weight loss on GLP-1 medications, sometimes called "Ozempic face".
He is an international trainer for Endolift, teaching the technique to other doctors, and has been recognised with an Endolift award for outstanding achievement. Alongside Endolift, his practice covers advanced regenerative aesthetics and a full range of energy-based devices, including erbium laser resurfacing, the ProYellow 577nm laser for rosacea and vascular concerns, and fully ablative laser treatment of severe acne scarring - a particular clinical interest.
His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he combines clinical practice with a background in healthcare management.
Dr Humphries founded Aion Labs at 10 Harley Street to bring scientifically grounded, evidence-based treatment to aesthetic medicine - treatments chosen because the data supports them, not because they are fashionable. Though he continues to work across several London clinics, he performs Endolift exclusively at Aion Labs.
